Betatron partners with YPSN and Heron Advisory to target the Maritime sector

Betatron, YPSN and Heron Advisory have formed a partnership to build one of the leading early-stage Venture Capital investors in the maritime industry.

YPSN was founded in 2010 and has since become one of the leading networks in the maritime industry with 1,300 members including leading maritime corporations, international organisations and industry CEOs. The network also has close relationships with the key global maritime hubs. In addition, YPSN are also the Founders of the Captain's Table which is an initiative to connect innovators and startup entrepreneurs with the maritime and logistics industry.

Heron Advisory is a Singapore headquartered consultancy in the ocean technologies space supporting startups, corporates, governments and accelerators to drive transformation in the maritime industry. Heron Advisory has a strong international network in the maritime industry, in particular in Europe and Asia.

With the partnerships' resources being equally based in Hong Kong and Singapore, we are in a perfect position to help startups grow in their target markets and raise Venture Capital. Seven out of ten of the world's largest container ports are located in Hong Kong/Mainland China whilst the port of Singapore is the world's top transshipment port and the second busiest port globally.

Together, we are keen to invest in and work with startup companies in the maritime industry as part of Betatron.
