It's been a busy first month for our ten startups in cohort 3 and we're excited about the traction they're starting to generate.
Here's a quick update on their recent progress.
3DNA is continuing their push to sell their interactive digital eyewear kiosks and have recently sold units in Hong Kong, China, and India.
CryptAM's crypto funds are continuing to navigate the volatility within the crypto market and continue to outperform their uncapped and bitcoin reference indices. They've also expanded their team and hired two new full time staff.
Green Is The New Black
Green Is The New Black has grown their team and now have a new full-time community & events manager, full-time intern and commision based sponsorship manager. They are close to closing projects with SMEs and MNCs to assist with their sustainability initiatives and rolling out campaigns.
Oxpecker Labs was one of the top 3 companies (out of 60 applicants) at the Decathlon pitch event and will be working with their innovation team in France to explore future collaboration.
They've also secured and are drafting a MOU with a construction company which will be trialing their product.
PatentBot participated in a legal tech event in Canada and launched their new web version of their product. In terms of product traction, they acquired 1,000 new users and reached 60 paid customers.
Sinotech Marine secured a Swiss-Singapore leading global commodity trader (part of a US $43 Billion Group) as an exclusive partner for ship inspection services worldwide.
Tap Media expanded its reach into the talent management and sports marketing arena with the hire of one the most experienced MMA managers and public relations executives in Asia. They also finalised plans to launch the Asia MMA Awards in Hong Kong on 14 September.
TradeMonk continues to expand with the launch of their retail marketplace and multiple new partnerships with some of HK’s top wine suppliers and the backing of some of the world's top sommeliers.
Vfluencer has signed 8 new clients for influencer marketing campaigns from the fashion, skin care, home improvement and education industries.
Weesper has on-boarded more than 60 referrers, 15 new jobs (including 5 new clients) and concluded 10 strategic partnerships with key networks since joining Betatron. Now, Weesper is expanding their referral platform to the Finance sector.
