Having been founded in 2016, Betatron’s portfolio currently includes 37 companies from sectors such as: E-sports, FinTech, Influencer Marketing, Legal Tech, Logistics, Marine Shipping, Property Tech, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Travel Tech and many more. As of 2018, we invest in circa 20 companies per year.

Our selection process is rigorous and similar to other Venture Capital investors. Applications for our program continue to grow quickly, with an acceptance rate of only 0.7% for our most recent cohort.

Keeping the intake of startups small enables us to work with the best-in class start-ups and offer a tailored program based on their industry, business model and specific needs.

A comprehensive, cloud e-commerce platform and is essentially building the “Shopify” designed specifically for the Arabic language and MENA region, as global competitors don’t offer Arabic language functionalities due to the complexities of the language structure. ExpandCart enables individuals and businesses to create a professional online shop in minutes by themselves without the need for any technical experience or assistance, whilst also integrating with marketplaces like Amazon, Alibaba Etsy, Ebay, etc. ExpandCart has already received investment from one of the world’s largest logistics companies, putting them perfectly positioned to scale rapidly across its target market.

Sakay is a transportation and mapping software that understands informal transport networks. More than 500 million people in the developing world can't use apps to plan trips, because their public transport options (like family-owned and independent jeeps/buses and motorcycle sidecars) are invisible to navigation services like Google Maps.

Sakay is the Waze/Citymapper for informal public transit and is being built to be the core infrastructure for navigation and real-time analysis of public transit networks worldwide - generating valuable urban planning and mapping data across Asia’s emerging markets. 3DNA is a digital eyewear design and production company that helps people get the perfect pair of glasses. They take a 3D face scan of the person, and then collaborate with opticians to design glasses using their eyewear design app.  
They’ve simplified the eyewear creation process - from concept to design to production - with an integrated pipeline, including an interactive kiosk at the point of sale.  This allows them to deliver a product that is one of a kind, perfect fitting, and emotionally connected with the user. 3DNA launched their product at Vision Expo East in March 2018 in New York city, where they sold 3 kiosks and booked over $35,000 in sales.

Pakpobox Hong Kong was founded in November 2014 as an innovative 24/7 parcel lockers network to connect merchants, couriers and consumers. So far, they have installed 62 lockers in Hong Kong and have launched pilot projects in Taiwan and Malaysia. 

They have been profitable since 2015, generating significant traction and revenue. The company’s mission is to enhance the delivery of parcels, laundry, groceries and food, by making the process more efficient and hassle-free.

Pakpobox’s goal is to install 500 lockers in Hong Kong by 2020 and to continue to expand their presence in the Asia Pacific region.
